Even during a drizzling rain, the AHS booth drew many visitors at the 2004 Apex Peakfest. Children enjoyed choosing from train whistles and striped railroad hats while adults bought raffle tickets for the handmade porch glider. Colleen Newman of Apex was the lucky winner of the glider made and donated by Allen Lee Lawrence.
